I'm trying to find a GOOD campground to stay at while visiting my brother in Frankfort. So far, I have seen many pleasant comments, but also some very disturbing ones as well. Please clarify for me.... 1. Is the staff friendly? 2. Is it pet friendly WITHOUT any breed restrictions? We keep or dogs on short leashes to keep them confined to just our area. (No one should be walking through everyone's campsite as a shortcut anyhow.) 3. What are the fishing policies as we both love to fish? 4. Are you able to use tents? How many per site?

Nice camp about 4 miles from the highway (65). 35.00 per day includes water and electric, not all sites have a dump. Small store with a few essentials, milk beer soda pop, candy. For the most part very quiet. If you take a shower which is available were thongs on your feet. Water is hot, pool area small but clean. Yes would stay again.

Went here many years ago and recently started going back. It is under new ownership and they are amazing people. Putting a lot of money towards many improvements. Lots of activities for all ages. But most importantly lots of cool stuff for kids and families. Fireworks multiple times a year. Awesome place!!
