They are terrible. They retain your stuff unless you schedule a delivery date but no one ever answers the phone. In addition to that, when they actually deliver packages they do it with a terrible attitude and are unwilling to help you with heavy packages even though they have equipment to move them.

I had to dropship a package going to Detroit. When we got there the staff was very helpful and quick to attent to our needs. They helped us take the huge staff from our suv via forklift and quickly signed the bill of lading and we were on our way. Couldn't ask for a better outcome and more helpful personnel Very impressive and definitely recommend them to anyone

Definitely don't use this company for time sensitive freight. YRC no longer guarantees transit times even though they'll charge extra for "guaranteed" freight. I don't really get it. Three days late for a guaranteed shipment, only to find out that they are no longer honoring claims for guarantee service failures. Obviously, I wouldn't have put an urgent shipment that needed guaranteed service with a carrier that guarantees the freight, is three days late, then doesn't honor the guarantee. What exactly is the point of offering guaranteed service if you don't honor the guarantee? If you do decide to use YRC, make sure to do it BY THE BOOK. You will get hit with hefty charges for the silliest of things. For example, our freight to them is all pre-labeled. Yet, the driver would never check and simply mark down the shipment as not labeled. We would pull up video footage, and they would deny our proof saying they couldn't read from the footage what was written on the label. After a letter to our Attorney General accusing fraudulent behavior on their part and violation of their own service contract, a VP of the company finally got in touch to straighten things out. But, it was a mess. Yellow and Roadway I remember being good, reliable companies. They didn't nickel and dime you, and they were both pretty reliable, especially Yellow. YRC seems to have taken the worst of both.
