I spent nine nights at this hotel. When I called to inquire about pricing, Mike the GM set me up with a weekly rate and a reasonable rate for the extra two nights of my trip. Combined it was less than $600 for my entire stay. You get what you pay for at this hotel. Nothing spectacular, but nothing awful either. Lee was the desk clerk when I arrived and was quite helpful in the check-in process, as well as assisting when the TV in my room would not initially work. I did not utilize the breakfast so I can't speak to that. The room had plenty of space, the refrigerator worked well, and the WiFi was stable and sufficient. The TV worked just fine after the initial issue at my arrival (which was solved in two minutes by Lee). The hotel is also in a fine area, a few miles from WalMart/fast food, and about six miles from I-65. My biggest complaints were with hotel personnel besides Lee. The housekeeper - who I never met - primarily. When I returned in the evenings, towels that had been "replaced" in the bathroom were damp to the touch and at least one was not replaced and instead was folded and hung up like new. They also moved my toothbrush from beside the sink to various positions, including up against a wall at one time and with the bristles touching a soap tray another time. I admittedly am a bit of a germaphobe in such situations, but I don't believe it is unreasonable to expect my toothbrush to be uncontaminated without cause. Also, there is a hotel employee (owner?) who lives onsite and is the overnight "emergency desk clerk", so to speak. He was a nice gentleman, but speaks minimal English. I had such difficulty communicating with him that when I asked for a towel and washrag, he instead gave me a towel and trash bag and could not understand when I tried to correct him. I had to make a second trip to the desk for the washrags when someone else was on duty.

Let me start this review by saying I used to be an employee of a different Super 8 and understand not to expect the best hotel around. It's cheap and manageable. Booked a handicap room for leaving my hospital stay and the front desk lady put me upstairs despite the note on the file. When I got there, I had noticed a sign that says a 50 dollar deposit is held on the credit card of the person paying to cover damages. The room itself immediately presented itself to us as damaged before we even entered. An entire drawer was missing on the dresser. The toilet caps for the lid were dirty as well as exposed. One towel had an obvious stain. There were cigarette holes in the comforter. The mini fridge was scuffed to hell and back. When I called the front desk lady to inform her of the damages found she was polite and said she didn't know and would tell management. I am fairly certain an entirely missing dresser drawer would have been noted by housekeeping. You can't exactly miss it. This made me worried the rooms weren't cleaned well at all either. (Coupled with the towel) Ive slept in a dirty, out of order room before but this one was in especially poor showing.

Bed bugs, if you can't find them in 5mins they won't give refund. Accused me of stealing their bug filled blanket to steal money from my account. Tried to talk to owners they were very rude..not reasonable. Whole place smelled of onions and curry

Positive: Price Negative: It was filthy. Room wreaked of cigarettes, carpet was old and stained. toilet ran the entire time we were there and the bathroom fan was incredibly loud. Towels were very old and stained. The hotel has not likely had a makeover in over 25 years.

Closest is Jommy John's. There is a Dominos a little farther. 3 D's Pizzeria is very good plus 3 authentic Mexican restaurants...Los Amigos, El Rodeo and Mi Hacienda.
