This park is very good. It's great for kids as there are a few playgrounds. It is centrally located so if you're looking for a place near here it is within walking distance. I would highly recommend this for small get togethers as well.

Nice park. Perfect for walks or picnics. Lovely trees, a nice path through the park, a fantastic horseshoe area and little soccer field. The picnic shelters are spread out nicely, so you have plenty of privacy for your gathering. And the indoor shelter is absolutely lovely. The playground equipment is a bit advanced, so maybe not ideal for very young children, but fun for older kids. Restrooms are very, very basic (one prison toilet and one sink), not incredibly clean, and no changing table at all, but we don't exactly go to a park for the potty.

This has been one of the most beautiful an serene parks for many years. We were married in the gazebo 30 years ago.

Love trick or treating there. The houses around the park always have really awesome decorations.

They should be on a leash. You might also try the Maple Avenue fish park just west of Collett park. Nice place to walk with fewer squirrels.
$80 to rent plus $50 deposit on keys and yes it has ac and its own bathroom
