I am a friend of a member and Ive been here a few times. A bit of advice for the owners. PLEASE get a new management team. I have witnessed management being disrespectful to staff and to each other. I have overheard managers raise their voice at staff, very unprofessional. The staff here is amazing but management could use a change.

The country club is magnificent. The views are incredible. The golf course is 6601 yards from the longest tees. It has a 71.6 usga rating. The restaurant and bar are great. Love the architecture was designed by William F. Bell

I attended the Hoag Classic this Sunday and I saw multiple patrons with the same bag with a seahorse on it. I was told they were for sale for $6 near the entrance under a white tent. I found the place only to discover their system was down. The young lady told me I could purchase it in the proshop(that was opened to the public) I saw them right as I walked in super stoked 🙌 to fund them so quickly. As quick as I grabbed it a young man from behind the counter said to me very loudly "EXCUSE ME THOSE ARE FOR...." I finished his sentence saying "sale" yeah I understand that, it's why I'm here and getting in line. I asked him if I had done something wrong? He didn't reply. I asked him if it was because of my race? No answer. Long story short. I was labeled and profiled! Not the greatest feeling ever. 😕

Best golf in Newport Beach. Medium challenging course with broad visibilty (few trees), but many sand traps. Golf carts available. Driving range is smallish, however patrons are there for The golf course. Golf course is very welli maintained. Club house is excellent for events.
