I love this place it's very beautiful very accessible and clean I only gave it three stars though because the fishing is not very good. Typically you do better if you're on a boat.

Nice clear lake with some deep drop offs, just didn't see any fish activity, other than very small bluegill.

I see plenty of ppl fishing here. I don't fish but love to walk my dog. There is a short trail that goes to a dead end. The trail isn't maintained very well but it's mostly a peaceful place to walk.

It's past sraytown towards Columbus turn l right on 700 then turn left on 600 the lake is on the left there's a sign kind of hidden it's a really nice lake sorry no fires

You need a license. It's not private, it is a state property.
No camping there. Closest would probably be Brown County State Park. But Grouse is a great lake to spend the day fishing.
