Nice campground with playground for kids. Price is cheap only downside no septic hook up only a dump station. No pool and they don't fill propane but there is a fill station at local hardware store down the road. Sits are larg fit my 40ft camper no problem

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend while exploring properties in the area. While the owners were friendly and welcoming up front, the seasonal campers and locals on the grounds were very unwelcoming... Keep in mind this is a private campground and most the folks here have been here for quite some time. The first night I arrived alone, I was placed on a 4 way intersection site between 3 RV's. This was fine considering I was by myself for the first couple nights. The next morning, I had geared up and hit the road by 7am. I returned @ 2pm to find that my site was covered in saw dust! Apparently the owners had scheduled for a tree company to fell a tree that was right next to my tent! All of my personal belongings, linens, tent... Etc, covered in saw dust. When I confronted management about the lack of consideration and asked why no one thought to cover my belongings with a tarp? They looked at me like I had 2 heads. Said there's nothing they could do about it. Come to find out... A branch had also fallen on my tent, breaking one of my poles and putting a hole in my $300 Aerobed air mattress. We spent very little time at the site, only to sleep and cook some food. The time we did spend on the campground, we were harassed by a group of unruly teenage boys on a golf cart. Almost ran us over head on while we were star gazing in the open field. One of the local mothers decided to stop at my site the second day, I was not joined by my wife yet. This woman asked me 20 questions as to why I was camping by myself and would not leave until I asked her to, so I could carry on cooking my lunch so I could hit the road again. Back to the teenage boys on the golf carts... The second day my wife was at the site, these teenagers passed by us while walking to the restrooms staring us down. After passing our site 4 or 5 times snickering under their breath, they decided to run 3 chainsaws near our campsite from 6pm-7pm. The time we were cooking and eating dinner. Then we were walking to the restrooms in the dark and the same boys on the golf cart came driving at us full speed, we had to jump out of the way. When I hollered what the hell that was for? The kid said he had his lights off so he wouldn't blind us. Damn near killed us. If he werent a minor things probably would have turned out differently for him! Expect music wars every night followed by folks yelling and cursing at eachother to turn down their music. Keep in mind most the 5 star reviews are from folks that have been there forever and feel welcome. So I rate 3 stars because the location is beautiful and the sites have electric and running water. Other than that though... I say if you choose to stay here as a first timer... Good luck surviving the hazing that goes on here. Check out the surrounding state parks, they are beautiful and the price is $24/night.

7th season here...love it!!!... ..unbelievable, after 7 seasons, paying for this season in full, in advance, accusations were made, much of which was completely fabricated and simply NOT TRUE....TOLD THAT WE HAD MANY VISITORS, MUCH OF WHICH NOT SIGNING IN....I spent 90% of my time at the camper... If even 1 person each week visited that would be stretching it.....it was 100 % fabricated...we we told to leave and given 48 hours to get out! A couple thousand dollars worth of stuff was abandoned because there was no way to take it with us!!!! The owners be were way out of line!!
