Great customer service, decent prices. These people tell you honestly what's up and don't have the pressure sales tactics like other places do. My car has an odd tire size and other places really took me to town on the price, Chatsworth tire took care of me.

Why did Chatsworth Tire have to sell out? They were the BEST auto tire & repair place around for miles. Fast, friendly service, and they always got you fixed on time or even before the time they promised. The guys always went out of their way to help you when something wasn't right. They even mounted a lawn tractor tire on a rim for me at no charge and ALWAYS kept my vehicle clean, and they always remembered my name. They spent years building up their client list and their reputation on being your neighborhood go to tire place. Now they're gone - sold out - bought by a large retail tire chain. I've called three times in the last week to get a price for brake service, and each time I hung up because they kept me on hold for over 10 minutes. Chatsworth Tire would never have done that! Very disappointed, and now I'll have to find another place to get my vehicle serviced. This is just another reason to get the heck out of So Cal!

This store is no longer Chatsworth Tire. It's taking a little while for them to switch over to their new identity under the Big Brand Tires franchise. While that's not entirely a problem, there is a clear branding issue (retained website, google maps listing, signage, etc.), but I am most concerned with a perceived reduction in quality from the past. This store gets REALLY busy, so they are constantly moving cars in and out. BUT, to not take the time to remove the tire mounting grease (or whatever it is) from a customer's rims speaks to a lack of care/respect for the customer. I thought it might have been a small oversight, but then I happened to notice a manager moving another customer's Mercedes whose rims were way worse than mine. I noted to him that I was quite shocked to find the grease all over the rims to which he shrugged and walked to the building (It took me about 30 minutes to clean two of my rims with WD-40, which is all I had at the moment. I'm including one of the greasy rim pics and a clean rim for comparison). Will I give Big Brand Tires (previously Chatsworth Tire) a chance in the future? I probably will—We all have bad days, right? Maybe today was just one of them.

Jesse, go to Chatsworth tire. You will be very pleased. I am just a customer. You will be treated like family. Ask for Bob or Hank the owners but I could name 4 or 5 more who will give you the same great service.
