George's Hot Dogs

George's had a bit of nostalgia as I've been coming here my whole life with family yet I wonder if I otherwise would... Despite cheap, residential seating and a lack of visual updating George's has a steady crowd. The picnic tables have gotten disturbingly wiggly over the years but kids can be kept occupied by the little playground. While known as a hot dog stand their chicken souvlaki is a favorite. Don't try the Mexican options, they always disappoint. Prices are high for a hot dog and fries and all toppings are extra. The staff is a mix of rushed and cranky 40 somethings and a handful of poorly trained but friendly high school students. Will I go back? Yes. More than once a year for a family meet up? Probably not.

First time there. Was nice to eat outside. Tables were clean and wasn't too crowded. Everyone was friendly and everything was fresh too. Loved the French fries and how things were laid out.

The staff was super friendly! Great location and wonderful food! Definitely a must to go again! And the prices were amazing inexpensive, which was refreshing in this day and age.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Excellent food and quaint,friendly atmosphere. I had Texas hots with a small order of fries and a order of onion rings. Unique tasting Texas hot, I'm not sure what it was (maybe hickory taste) still very good. I thought the small fry would be smaller so I also ordered onion rings. I was wrong, small fries are definitely shareable. Fryer oil was very minimal and you could tell it was clean. I will most definitely be returning numerous times.
