Super beautiful theater! Comfy seats and cup holders for drinks. Only slight problem, it has a musty smell when you first walk into the theater, but other that that it's a great place to go!

The North Park Theatre considered "Buffalo's Finest Movie Theatre" is another fine example of Buffalo restoring it's historic buildings. The theatre is about to begin it's final restoration right in time for the centennial in 2020. . The North Park Theatre regularly has screenings of indie, classic, and new blockbuster movies. The theatre is also beginning to host various events and special live screenings of movies with celebrity actors such as Jay Mewes (Clerks) and Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws).

This place can be rented for HS graduation. The auditorium itself isn't large, but it's a nice small there. The steps to the stage are a little scary, gotta be careful, there are no handles. Close to many small shops and restaurants, would return again.

We saw "Loving Vincent" on a Saturday in December. The movie was incredible, made even more so by the beauty of the theatre itself. We stayed after the credits to take pictures of the auditorium. Please contribute to the restoration project, we have so few of these treasures left.

It's playing until 12/13, and the afternoon of 12/14.

Yes, you can take our word on such things. 😉
Check their website for showings and times.
It is an old Vaudeville Theater. It is large. I would say at least 400 seats, probably more.
