Irvine San Joaquin Golf course is ok except dirty lakes. The worst is the San Joaquin golf driving range. Dust is terrible when their golf balls pick up machine is working. You cannot stay there. They need to lay artificial grass as soon as possible.

This is a terrible course in so many ways. Layout is very plain and boring. Maintenance is terrible, sparse grass if any at all in the fairways, hard and unmaintained bunkers with not much "sand". Bumpy, lumpy greens with many un fixed ball marks. Couple that with poorly cut holes left to grow over and you have all the earmarks of zero care for the course. Oh yeah, they also do not have enough golf carts for players and are poorly maintained to boot, just like the rest of the property. Yep, you may not "get to have" a golf cart. Be warned. How bout the customer service? It is just plain awful basically a mix between rude and uncaring. This is a course where you may see a "service" person raising their voice at a customer. It may be you. Couple all that with high prices and high crime in the area. They clearly don't care about you...why give them money to perpetuate that behavior? You have been warned.

It's a very okay course. I played when the the greens were punched so I imagine once they recover the greens are fun to play on. Blind tee shots on a few holes which is something I'm not a fan of, but it's still fine. Course isn't gonna test you or stress you out.

Much improved! The greens are very nice for the most part. The fairways are a bit dried out, but overall much better than how it was a few months back. Keep it up!!
