Calm and serene location. The park on the whole is a small to medium size based on the walking track and play area. Pretty busy children play area, a nice bounty garden - where they offer volunteer services to learn gardening and donate vegetables organically produced to nearby food banks (Great initiative). The dog park is currently CLOSED. Overall thumbs up for an evening walk or get some zen goodness.

The park is very nice and clean with children playground area, dogs park, and small trails. Its well maintained year round. Lots of birds like Acorn Woodpeckers, Stellar Jay, etc.

Hap McGee Ranch Park is a tranquil and well-located park that is perfect for families with small children, dogs (at the dog park there , which reopens this Sat) and for leisure hikers along the nearby trails. There is a quiet atmosphere during week days, with plenty of space to have a memorable picnic. An East Bay classic outdoor experience!

Really nice dog park with two areas. All fenced off with double gate entry. Water fountains are in both areas as well as benches in the shade. The larger section has an agility course. Great parking with a lot of park amenities.
