I went to the d20 store to try to sell some of my old magic cards. I called first to make sure they bought them. However the guy on the phone didn’t mention how little percentage of profit i would actually be receiving. I don’t know if the guy who looked at my cards was trying to play me dumb or what but I brought at least 150$ worth of cards with me and I do know my prices despite only being offered 20$ for all of them? Like what? I understand that you need to make profit from buying and trading cards but trying to rip people off completely just makes no sense. I have had more luck selling online despite also being told by the guy behind the counter that I would have no luck with it.

I am stunned by all of the positive reviews. Must be from an alternate universe. This place is an absolute dump. It felt like trying to climb your way through someone's musty, cluttered basement in search of anything of value. Junk everywhere. Floor, shelves. Just a pit. The condition of this store compared to the other stores in the area is striking. Absolutely no pride in the business or the merchandise it is selling. Dude behind the counter couldn't be bothered to look up from his phone for two seconds to acknowledge us and seemed irritated at the interruption to answer a simple question. I wanted to love this game store. We are avid family gamers who recently relocated to the area. We visited our neighborhood game store at least once a week and regularly supplied our obsession. Sadly, this store is not worth a second visit.

D20 is one of the best LGS's in the Bay. Been a patron for the last decade, and Ben (the owner) has never failed to cultivate a stellar play experience. From weekly leagues for Pokémon, D&D meetups, to weekly Friday Night Magic, they have it all and more. Plenty of board games as well if the card games aren't your style, and recommendations on anything in the store from Ben, who had definitely played everything.

An awesome store to discover tabletop games, Magic & Pokemon cards. Ben, the owner, is engaging to customers, recommending stuff in an honest and genuine way, not just to make a sale. There's a lot going on in the store... People setup on tables, playing their own games, or demo games. It's a little cluttered, but shouldn't take away from your shopping or browsing experience. I found it rewarding once I was able to dig through stuff to find what I was looking for. It's in a nice neighborhood in Alameda. Street parking is enough, even on a busy weekend.

They carry a neat selection of DnD minis- they have a small selection of Star Wars minis just past where they keep their snacks.
No. Board games and cards (pokemon, magic, etc)
I agree. I dont think they buy bulk, just the rarer cards. You can try selling bulk to Toy Safari down the street
Try Toy Safari on Park St.
I do not think that they have bakugan at D20 but you should call to make sure.
Free to get in. Pay to do events and buy stuff.
Yes. 11-1 almost every Saturday. $5 to get in and you get a booster pack with admission.
They definitely sell booster boxes there, but I'm not sure whether any were unbroken bonds.
Yes.
All of Maxwell's listed events above are tournaments that D20 runs.
They have regular DMs who hold D&D nights Wednesday, so you can't just walk in off the street and run your own game there. I'm part of a regular game there and it's a lot of fun, they were very welcoming. I think they have MTG game nights too, but I'm not sure about the details. They have a website, Facebook page and Twitter acct you can check for details.
I think they very well might
No, D20 only deals in board and card games, not video games.
D20 does not sell yugioh products
D20 games does not carry power rangers figures. However there is a small stock of some retired power rangers cards
D20 games does not buy or sell Yu Gi Oh cards, only Pokemon and Magic the Gathering cards.
