This poor hotel has many problems. The young lady who is running the place practically on her own explained that the GM just up and walked out leaving the place practically in ruins. Our room was (mostly) clean, except for the dirty towel left in the bathroom. There were only a couple of wash cloths and one hand towel otherwise. No soap, no shampoo, nothing else. When we asked for some soap, she said it was on back-order. So... luckily I had a small bar of soap with me. The "hot breakfast" was the waffle machine. Otherwise, there wasn't much to chose from. And since I have celiac disease, there was nothing for me. Again luckily, I brought some stuff of my own. The location is convenient (right off I-70), but that's about the only good thing this hotel has going for it. Hopefully things will get straightened out in the next few months, and it will be cleaned from top to bottom and restocked. For now, though, pass it by!

I made the mistake of not fully reading reviews when booking this place to stay for the night as my husband and I are moving across the country. I usually have good experiences with La Quinta locations but this one is in serious need of some work. Sereina at the front desk was very nice and that’s probably the only good thing I have to say. We booked a nonsmoking room and it smelled like cigarettes as soon as we opened the door. It was on the sheets the most so I’m hoping it was lingering from the person who changed the sheets and not from the last people who stayed there. We had our 4 month old baby with us so I’m sure that was great for him to breathe in all night. Pillows had some stains. Bathroom had zero amenities, not even soap to wash hands. Toilet handle was disgusting. Shower was gross looking & had black spots on the bottom so we didn’t dare use it. The room across the hall from us fought the whole evening, slamming doors and cussing each other out. Also super nice to experience with a baby around. I’m jumping to conclusions and assuming they were doing some sort of exchange whether with their bodies or substances— I’m not sure which. That being said, we didn’t feel very safe or comfortable. We left as soon as we woke up in the morning. The dog poop smeared all over the front exit was a great finishing touch. If you’re looking for below the bare minimum, this is the place to stay.

I would leave zero stars if possible. First observation when I walked into the hotel lobby: on the registration desk there were 2 empty or half empty chip bags rolled up alongside two empty Coca Cola cups. Maybe a guest inadvertently left them there, who knows, but it was not very welcoming or professional. Behind the registration desk, on another desk adjacent to where the clerk remained seated, was a paper plate that had chips and a Hot Dog or some type of sausage on it, as well as 2 beverage container, with one being empty. On the ledge behind the clerk there were at least one empty beverage container, maybe two. Again it appears there was no effort whatsoever to tidy up the greeting area, leaving a not so great impression. Upon entering my assigned room (older hotel in need of a complete and total makeover), I noticed dirty torn carpeting and stained furniture. No toilet paper or tissue paper. There was hair in the sink as well as on the bedspread. Also I noticed the vents on the air conditioning unit were covered with filth. I called the clerk and requested a new room. I was issued a different room and upon opening the door to that room it was immediately evident by the odor, that the room had recently been smoked in, was a smoking room or had been a smoking room at one time. The air conditioner had 6, yes 6 air fresheners in the vents. Also there were 2 extra, uncovered pillows placed on the desk. But there was toilet paper and tissue paper in the bathroom. It was at this point that I could not, would not stay in this hotel. I checked out (noticing the garbage was still on and or around the lobby desk) and proceeded to stay at a neighboring establishment. In all my travels this had to be one of, if not my worst hotel experience ever. I. Poked this property through Hotels.com & on the positive side, when Hotels.com was given these above details, they did reimburse me. So I give Hotels.com a thumbs up for doing what was the right thing to do.

This place is run down and shabby. The lobby had several adults and children sitting around snacking and hanging out as though they live there. Furniture looks very worn and grubby. Our room had a cracked sink. The bottom of the bathtub was dirty. The carpet everywhere is worn and dirty. A microwave oven is fastened to the fridge and buzzing. We had to weigh it down with a suitcase in order to get it to be quiet. For $140.00, we expected better. We would not recommend staying here.
