Dog were in filthy crates prices 1800 to 2500.. dogs do not look healthy... NO windows.. No outside accesss every dog is penned with a little but of bedding that looks like its for a hampster. The fact that uour workser look like they live in your facitlity makes it even worse to me.... This is despicable way of caring and managing animals.... the property on the outside is run down fence is falling apart.. Why is this acceptable to you the owner

The staff at brookside pups are super helpful! I told them what I wanted and they listened. Never once did they try to sell me something I did not want. Once I found my little Sophie they took the time to go over everything, as far as caring for my 14 week old puppy. They truly do love their pups and take such good care of them. I would definitely buy another puppy from brookside. They’re awesome! I believe they’re prices are reasonable. The puppy I brought home was a golden Pomeranian (teacup size). There is no way I would have been able to find a pure breed, small size, for this price. Thank you Brookside for being so helpful! You guys are truly awesome!

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW (yet) but I do in fact have a question since I did leave my number and whatnot with interest for a Mini Dachshund pup earlier today. Based on reviews from the past I can already see pricing and perhaps some of the dogs health is out of line and not checked by a professional. I would like to know why people are paying so much regardless of the dog being purebred or not? I'm aware I should of checked the reviews first, yes but If someone were to pay that much and not even have a guarantee the dog is healthy I don't see the point. More or less pay that much for puppies with unknown breeders. I would love to see for myself, whether it's even okay to sell puppies that for that much. :) I would also never buy a dog from a store without its medical papers! I know this only because a family member has bought a dog this way and it was truly a blessing.

We purchased a puppy from Brookside Pups on 1/17/2021. The reviews we read of the place online looked promising so we did not think we would have any issues. The girl working at the store was really nice and pretty knowledgeable as well. That night our puppy, Jax, had diarrhea. We figured it was just nerves being in a new home. The diarrhea continued throughout the week and Wednesday morning at around 3am he started to vomit. We closely monitored him throughout the day and he continued to vomit as well as suffer from diarrhea. The only food Jax ate Wednesday was a few pieces of food out of our hands. Thursday, Jax's vomit formed a yellowish color so we called the vet ASAP and they got us in. Jax was diagnosed with the deadly virus called Parvovirus (“Parvo”) and hospitalized. It was a really upsetting time for us, and on top of it the bills started to pile up and his stay kept getting extended. He spent more time in the hospital than he had with his family his first week home. The responsibility to save his life fell on our shoulders because of others negligence. The veterinarian had immediately sent a veterinary certificate to Brookside deeming that the dog had an illness that “renders it unfit for purchase”. This situation is so unfair for our poor Jax. We did everything we could to make sure Jax had a chance at life. After just a few short days he has become the center of our little family and we couldn’t wait for him to pull through this deadly disease. Unfortunately, on 1/26/2021, after 6 days in the hospital, Jax passed away. His paperwork stated that his breeder was Amos Yoder from Lancaster, MO. After speaking with the owner of Brookside, Shawn O’Kane, she does not know his license number after stating that she MUST deal with only USDA licensed breeders. She has lied on multiple accounts of speaking with us and after researching, Jax was not the first dog to have died from Brookside Pups. We are not only out $5,000 in medical bills, but also a piece of our family is gone. Nothing will ever be able to replace Jax, but we have made it our mission to make sure that no other family goes through the amount of suffering we have. We want our story to be heard and spread awareness so this does not happen yet again to another one of Brookside’s customers. They have been and continue to sell sick puppies and should be investigated/shut down for this ongoing negligence. They should be accountable for the $5,000 in medical bills to try and save his life.
