Very clean station, trains come often

This is an unmanned train station. It's clean and easy to navigate. There's plenty of parking available, ticket machines on each side of the track, and a well-kept single-stall public restroom. Benches and some shade available as well, and an electronic departures board to keep abreast of train comings and goings. THIS IS NOT THE TRAIN STATION FOR THE BEACH!!!!! I frequently meet confused travelers who have gotten off here thinking they are mere steps away from Laguna Beach, when in reality the beach is still 10 miles away, and there is no bus route that will take you there. If you want to go to the beach via train, San Clemente station is your only option.

72 hours maximum. However, I've parked longer by accident, during times of illness. I've never been towed nor been cited, however, I've known of another person receiving a citation and have seen cars being towed. I think it's a random check and I've just been lucky.
