Muddy Run, Hiking Trail

We have a couple small kids and an infant and it was 25°out we were comfortably able to walk up to the start of the trail it was great. Exercise. You can easily take a stroller on the wide path like huge path we had 5 people spread out and didn't come close together. It might be a 1/4 to 1/2 mile to the start of the trail but we didn't get to go on it we didn't have enough time. Great adventure if you are a person with kids or just looking to get out of the house there is a good playground and some swings and a bunch of picnic tables to pack a lunch if no tables available plenty of wide open grass area to sit with the kids. Of you are noy really out Dorsey but want a place to start this is it. Drive in the entrance and stay to the right follow the road to the lower parking lot past the splash pad just to the right you will see the giant medal bridge just past the play ground

Very nice park and campground, beautiful and we'll maintained. Had a great time camping with our Scouts. The visitor center was educational in learning more about the area power plants, muddy run, conawingo dam, and peach bottom.
