Bring a pair of sturdy hiking shoes to get down to the creek, then change into water shoes to walk in the creek. No matter where you park, you will have a long uphill walk to get back to your car. Bring plenty of water if it is a hot day. The best features of the creek are found from the junction of the creeks to the rail road tracks where it enters the Sesquaha River. Carry out all trash, as there are no trashcans.

This is a very good hike. It has various terrains and elevation change to keep it interesting

Moderately challenging hike on hilly, rocky terrain. Kelly's Run Trail is about 3.8 miles long with a variety of terrain levels. Some beautiful views of the river from a paved path at one point, and a winding walk along a creek amongst surprisingly large boulders and rhododendron forest, several small waterfalls, some scrambles and steep climbs, a breezy walk through grasslands and flowers at Pollinator Park, and overall a few hours of appreciating the Pennsylvania landscape variety on another fantastic Lancaster Conservancy trail. Looking forward to coming back in the Spring/Summer for all of the flowers and foliage.

Pretty good trail with clear markings. Did the Kelly's run loop counter clockwise on a Sunday evening. Started with a descent over rocks and across the water. Ended up with a steep climb to finish the trail through the pollinator park. Worth doing it again.
