What a wonderful place to visit! Extremely interesting museum and gorgeous setting. We learned visitors can even have a picnic in the garden!

Fun to be able to go inside his home and look at all the furnishings. A lovely setting!

This is one wonderful and historic HOME that has been part of Spain, Mexico, and the U.S. General Mariano Vallejo's life and family members were the closest to "royalty" in the days of early California. Well worth your time to explore this lovingly maintained historic site and -- a real "family home" of yesteryear!
