We have been to 3 Trails a few times and enjoyed the beer and flatbread pizzas. On Saturday evening we took friends for their first visit. Pizza was wonderful as usual, and drinks were good until my husband went back to the bar to ask for two more cans of their light beer (they were out of it on tap) The person who was now at the bar said no, he couldn't have canned beer? So he came back and told us all at table and none of us could understand why?? Especially when others were getting cans? Kind of soured our experience. If we do go back, we will not hype it up to friends and have them go with us only to have a bad experience (we'vetaken friends a few times before snd we all enjoyed it). To be clear, we are senior citizens, not rowdy or loud, and had only had one beer/drink each. Very disappointed in the service!

Nice place try the 5% before you try the 14% brew trust me on this 14% beer will rock your boat ask the bartender for suggestions for sure because the 14% Popeye was like nothing I ever drank before after one beer 🍺 of that I actually felt like I got punched by Popeye himself. Nice lay out inside. Killer pizza

They have good beer and the atmosphere is cool. However, it would be great if they actually posted the prices on the menu instead of it being a mystery. Ordered 2 beers that ended up being $16...more expensive than most places. The bartender also wasn't particularly friendly and the woman that runs the flatbread side was at the bar drinking and was clearly intoxicated. This was at 7:30pm.

Yes. They will do reservations. Had a retirement party just this past weekend.
While they don't have food in-house, all of the local restaraunts on the square deliver there. You can get American, Mexican, Deli food or pizza delivered there.

Carol, We do have outdoor seating. The city allowed us to set up an area in front of the brewery and we are taking advantage of it.
4-1030 if there is enough crowd to stay open that late. Come on in and see us!
The entire city of Independence is smoke free inside of public buildings.
