Full disclosure: I know nothing about buying jewelry. I walked into the store for the same reason every husband walks into an unfamiliar store in early February. Speaking to a very nice woman, I outlined my max budget and some vague comments on my wife’s style. The first pieces she showed me were well above my budget and not exactly my wife’s style, but as I didn’t seem interested, the woman kept us moving to a different display. I saw a few pieces that did look similar to things my wife already has, and this started to snowball the process as the salesperson found more and more pieces that were more and more what I was looking for. Finally she produced a jade piece that was *very much* my wife’s style. When we talked price, not only was it half my budget (a welcome relief), but she also adjusted the price, the way jewelers seem to always do, so that when the chain and taxes were included, I was still 40% under budget. Lastly, as a novice buyer, I also greatly appreciated that I wasn’t made to feel that I *had* to spend a certain amount. I will definitely be back, and *highly* recommend the shop. There are a ton of cool antique items on display as well, worth visiting just for the museum aspect (I’m sure you could buy them if you had the means).

I Found my grail watch here at Olde Towne Jewelers. I was able to deal direct with Eric the Owner. He gave me the history behind Doxa Sub 200 T.graph I wanted to purchase. This was all done by phone and email just before a big Holiday. The watched was shipped direct to my home and went right on my wrist. Great service and easy to work with. Thank you Eric!

Exceptional service - I went into sell a gold ring and was greeted by Terry. He clearly explained what he would be doing to ensure the quality and worth of the ring. During his testing and calculations, Terry and I struck up great conversation. He then presented me with a fair offer that was a win-win for the both of us.
