It’s very unfortunate to give this place a one star. I moved here from Dallas and this was the first hospital I’ve been at since I’ve been here and gave me a bad impression all together. My father has jaundice and liver damage. The nurse was just like all the other comments. Very nonchalant when I wasn’t there they were very rude to my dad and especially the liver specialist here. I was put on speaker to speak with him and he was very sarcastic the whole conversation. Any questions I had came with a snarky response. For example when I had asked what things could we do to help the liver his response was with a chuckle and said there was nothing. I proceeded to ask if it was just a waiting game and responded with another chuckle and a “that’s life isn’t it? I Don’t know how much longer he has” with no empathy at all. Gave me little to no professional advice just very unprofessional attitude. It’s such a disappointment.

Wanted to share how this hospital works the people incompetent and very bad at their job even the Doctors Ayelle and Moe seems like they don't know what their jobs is are even how to treat people not even telling family members the truth even when i talked to risk management they got the dates messed up. My Mom died here and it was due to their fault. All i can say is if you have a chance to go some place else do it. If you put your or family members life in their hands the odds don't look good not sure how a hospital like this can stay in business when they tend to kill are their clients and somehow seem to get more. Careful if you go here

Like many other reviewers, I give this place one star. I'd give zero if I could. I went to the ER with a significant bone fracture. By the time I was transferred to a room 6 hours later, my leg had been observed by a physician's assistant and I was given pain meds. Nothing else. No wrap, no surgery (which should have been done immediately), no visit by any doctors. This hospital is old and run down and the staff doesn't care. I had one nice nurse, Amy, and that was it. I went to a different facility for surgery and they couldn't believe how I was treated.

Staff is rude and doesnt seem to care about the patient. My younger sister was here a few months ago in psychiatric hold because of suicidal ideation. The doctor was supposed to call her to check up on her after she was released and he never did. When she called back asking for help bc she felt her medications weren't working they told her constantly that they will call her. No one did and now we are at a different hospital months later, in much worse condition. We almost lost her. I'm not saying it's entirely this hospital's fault but had they don't the bare minimum in even CALLING a patient in the fragile state she is in, we may have been in a much better situation. Next time Los Alamitos, maybe do your due diligence when someone is on psychiatric hold wanting to kill themselves. I could have lost my sister because of your laziness.

Between 8am -8pm. However, if your loved one is in ICU you may be permitted to visit your loved one under certain criteria. Children can only visit if permitted by certain units in the hospital and children MUST BE SUPERVISED AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES PERMITTED TO RUN SCREAM DISTURB HARRASS OR BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE PARENTAL SUPERVISION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If, visitors are loud disruptive or rude the visitation will be terminated. After all, although your loved one might be in the hospital for something minor they may be sharing the room and unit with patients recovering from something much more serious and requiring complete rest to recover. Please practice common courtesy and consideration at all times. More than 2 visitors at any time should be limited to the approval of staff as well as restricted to normal daytime hours again, due to the fact that this is a hospital and not a family reunion or Chucky Cheese. You may enjoy the idea of cheering up a patient, u can do that at home
Its absolutely the worst
No, he is an Infectious disease doctor
Keep looking
Hospital #1311 than operator and the should direct you.
Proof of vaccination with a booster.
No
Yes if you can find street parking and they have parking structure for visitors.
Right now, they will not let you in. You drop off at a tent setup outside the actual emergency room and they take the patient. You have to stay out. The hospital is over 200% capacity, including a triage setup in the parking structure. (Just went through the process last week with my mom.) Hope this helps.
I do not know...sorry
Walk up to Main desk and they will track it down. You may have to sit down for a bit. Hospital may be busy.
Many people stay to accompany their family member all night
Believe what I say Los Alamitos hospital is the worst place you can go for medical care
