Yesterday was, unfortunately, very typical of this store. I have a torn meniscus so I placed my order online. After waiting and waiting and waiting, I finally called and they had about half of my order, which did little good without the other half. It was tough finding anyone who was actually working and not just walking around socializing with other employees. So, after placing the order online in order to avoid walking, I had to go in to do the shopping anyway. This store's inventory is ALWAYS way off, so you order things they don't have (or they're too lazy to go find them). I drive south to avoid the traffic in Florence, but I think I've made my last trip to this store. It doesn't save time or gas to make a trip and not get what their website says they have. From now on I think I'll just drive to Menard's. Christine is the one exception at this store. She's always friendly and helpful, but she can do little herself about the constantly incorrect inventory.

Whatever you need for your next DIY project or plumbing for the bathroom you have come to the right place. But buyer beware...you will walk up and down the aisle looking at all this store carries and find you have been here for hours. Whew it's time for lunch now! Great place to get all good stuff 👍🏼

This is a shout-out to the young man , Eli, that helped me with my order. I went to go pick up my order of 4 bags of topsoil and a package of 2 garden gloves. This very friendly young man came out with just my gloves. Well apparently while I was out in my yard digging holes I missed the phone call from Lowe's saying that the topsoil I ordered wasn't in stock. Imagine my horror thinking I was going to have to go into a public place, stinky, dirty and just a hot mess! Eli went the extra distance and got me 4 different bags of topsoil!!! He called me when he was inside, told me all about the soil before going ahead with the charge. I really can't say how much I appreciated (and still do!) his kindness and willingness to go that extra distance on such a busy Sunday afternoon! He set the bar high and is an example of what customer service is. Eli, I hope you get some sort of recognition for helping this old lady out! 😀

I was able to purchase carpeting for a very good price. 17 cents a sq. Ft. It wasn't what I originally went in to buy but the price was right where I could not say no. I also bought an area rug and because the store didn't have enough employees to help we had to wait awhile to get what we needed the manager gave us a great price for the area rug as well I left very satisfied. Only complaint was a cashier who thought she was running stuff who actually tried to chargee full price for both items even though the manager marked them down. After waiting so long to get what we needed we had to wait again and track down the person who marked down the items to prove to this cashier that we weren't lying and they were in fact supposed to be marked down. It is becoming more and more common to be treated like a thief anytime you go shopping. It's really sad
