Will change providers in Open enrollment for the simple fact you can't get an appointment or even talk to a person without waiting on line at least 20 to 25 minutes. Ridiculous. Hire some operators!

Worst hospital ever. Our nightmare started on December 12, 2020 when our dad was brought to this hospital. When he arrived he was diagnosed with pneumonia due to Covid. From there it all went down hill. My dad was neglected and multiple times Doctor offered comfort care and they were very pushy when my dad had no other complications nor any other organ was damaged. He battled for 36 days in there with the worse care ever we will call and make zoom calls with him and will spend sometimes 2 hours until ipad will ran battery and he would be unattended the whole time. On Jan 5th hospital discharged cordinator called us at 9am to informednus he was stable enough to get discharged to Kindred longterm altough he was still ICU patient and will be transferred at 12pm. Well ar 12pm Dr.Tran call us with the worse bed side manner to tell us wel he doesn't have chance of surviving and when we asked what are you talking about Lisa called us saying he was going to be released and we signed everything because he supposedly is doing good she said well I hadn't chocked on him but he is not in good shape we said well don't doctor is the one that authorize the discharge and she said yes well then why did Lisa wanted to release him. Dr.tran had a melt down on thw phone saying she couldn't handle it anymore that she was running like chicken without a head and had 20 patients under her care. Can you believe that..so pretty much your patient will not be taken good care here. After my dad 3 other relatives got admitted for Covid also and same stories. Well long story short our nightmare began on dec 12 and ended on the 18th of January with the passing of my father. All 4 of our family members died there. On the 30 of Dec then on the 4th of Jan then on the 15 of Jan and last my dad on the 18th. From being healthy with no underlying health conditions except being on their 60s they were just seen as another number. Don't go there or take any family member if your really care for them. This hospital is a death trap.

I like the services of St. Jude Medical Center. The doctors and nurses and the staff are nice except for that nurse in the ER Jason. I took my patient there last October 12,2017 at 8pm. After all the tests results came. Which is around 12 midnight. We were told that my patient is going to be admitted. He made us wait until 5 am to get a room. I kept on asking him about when are we going to be transferred upstairs because my patient is 91 yrs old and we had a long day. He just kept on telling me to wait. That there is a room for us. That it is just very busy that night. The thing is it really was not busy that night. He was just busy chatting with the other patient even thought he is done with them. Telling them about his girlfriend and when he visited her in San Francisco. And yet he has the nerve to be pissed with me when I ask to speak with the doctor. Another one was that Nurse Aide Giovanni that they’ve sent to change the diaper of my patient. Yes he came and change the diaper but he never wiped her clean. And the diaper was ripped off when he was pulling it. Instead of changing it. He told me that they don’t have any big size diaper. I am so disappointed with this two. I hope their supervisors will talk to them and remind them to do their job right. Other than that the other nurses and staff on the third floor are nice and doing an excellent job! I commend them for that.

I'm a family member of a patient that an exceptional nurse took care of. This nurse was Liz Tovar. I decided to write a review because I also wanted to say that Everyone was great, granted how busy they were with patients in chairs in the hallway and on gurneys... Everyone was attentive, caring and compassionate and had great team work - But I wanted to mention Liz because she was not only kind, caring, and very efficient - she was also straightforward and individualized her care and it was fascinating to listen to her and watch her taking care of her other patients and also made sure WE- the family members were taken care of too! Who does that? So I just wanted to say St Jude ER is awesome!

My 12 year old son has had 2 episodes of blood clots in his bladder , two times within a month . Any idea what could cause this ? Current dr.s have no idea.

Well, he coud have bladder cancer, deep vein thrombosis, or a urinary tract infection. I would suggest that you bring him to the doctor as soon as possible because this could be a life and death situation. The clots could travel to his heart or brain.

For accurate hours of operation it would be best to call the main line. It should have the most up to date information.
