Looks nice, but had immediate plumbing issues where the toilets won't flush well, or the hot water lasts 3 min. These issues remain 8 months later, are yet to be resolved. Apartment also leaks from the outside when it rains, seeps into the kitchen during long periods of rain. Company has been notified, still no resolution.

I have lived here for 3 years and have experienced both old and new management. The transition was rough for a while, but with our new permanent property manager I see blue skies ahead, Bobbi is really on point! The buildings are old and come with some of the expected dings, but for the price of rent and the spacious townhome, I really can't complain. My small family loves the backyard patio. The location is fantastic; so close to New Circle and only 5-10 minutes from downtown Lexington. I also love my neighbors and the little community we have here.

The new managers are awesome, Bobbi is proactive and gets work done. She is doing a great job at making sure the community is cleaner than before. There is a dog park now and a nice grill. Anytime during business hours that I have needed in the office, they are open. I don't have any bug issues, or anything (that's what vacuuming and cleaning house is for). Richmond Commons also has really nice and friendly community engagement staff who host events like movie night, cook outs, etc. There is some trash and dog waste throughout the community (like most complexes) but, that isn't a management issue necessarily, that is a public issue. People leave the trash dumpster doors open and trash gets out and smells too. If residents picked up trash as they walk by and put it in the dumpster and closed the dumpster door, we would have a much cleaner area. I volunteer my time and pick up trash throughout the area because I care. I think it would be really cool to have a butterfly garden somewhere on the property. There is also a courtesy officer that helps out with non-emergency issues who is actually really nice and awesome! I think they could use one or two more maintenance staff. Rarely have I had any complaints on noise from passersby or residents late at night. It's a great location to get to downtown, UK, and right by new circle, 20 min from Raven Run Nature Sanctuary. Spacious units. nice neighbors.

Two words "black mold" maybe toxic. Check your crawl storage space under the stairs. Cohen-Esrey LLC has not responded to refund requests so BBB in Kansas City getting involved. In my honest opinion something is wrong when property management rents such a space most likely knowing such a health hazard exists...SICK! Now manager Misty Marcum states that a deposit refund was made...hmm strange it never arrived.
