I absolutely hated living here. It’s bad enough to live close to a busy train track. I never got a good night’s sleep because the freight trains run 24/7. The staff made numerous mistakes. The parking lot would frequently close for the oil drilling crews. Union Place is easily the most miserable living experience of my life. Good luck to those who decide to sign a lease here

Apartment living can be challenging in large multiple unit buildings but Im so happy I ended up here at Union Place because the maintainance specialist, Nestor, is a top notch professional. He is always polite, calm and extremely professional. He has many different skills from electrical, plumbing and other issues that can be problematic in apartment living that he handles with ease. I feel comfortable living here knowing he can handle the job quickly and done righ the first time.....So here's a shout out to Nestor....Thank you so much!!!!!

This place is right next to 3 railway tracks & you know what that means! (Train passes by every 15mins or so, it’s loud & shakes the entire building). Management is really rude & not helpful at all. I have not seen a resident here who lives there more than a year or two before moving on. Parking situation is awful. Few cars were broken into. Most residents have to break lease to get out of this mess. Would definitely not recommend this place! My life is so much better ever since I moved out of that mess. Definitely not worth even half the rent they charge.

Honestly, I can't wait until our lease is up here at Union Place. I lived here once, years back with a couple of roommates and absolutely loved it then. Beautiful apartments, open floor plans, nice pool/spa, gym, quiet neighborhood with the exception of the train (which I was well aware of upon move in, so it really didn't bother me), friendly, family oriented neighbors. I always said I'd love to move back there once my then boyfriend/now husband and I were ready to settle down. Well, here we are a few years later and have 11 months to go on our lease, and we can't wait until they're up. This place has completely changed. *The day we signed our lease, we got the keys and headed to our apartment to discuss furniture placement. We heard a knock at the door, and it was the manager letting us know she'd charged us $90 less than what she should've, and asked us to go on and pay it asap. Not a problem, but little did we know that would be the first of many issues to come. *Our master bathroom toilet has broken multiple times since move in. *Our unit had a list a mile long of things that weren't right when we moved in. *The unit above us has people partying into all hours of the night...ALL THE TIME. It is always loud and my 14 month old daughter is being woken up constantly. *My car was broken into within 3 weeks of moving in. *There is dog poop...everywhere. Honestly I could go on, but I won't. Margaret, the manager, is so nice. We really like her but just really dislike this community as a whole. We really feel the quality has decreased over the years and are disappointed, as we were very excited to live here. REVIEW UPDATE: Well, I wrote this review 3 months ago and nothing has changed regarding our upstairs neighbors. It got better for about a month then went right back to the same thing. Emailed the apartment manager about 1.5 weeks ago (as she told me to when they get loud) and no one has replied to me. Not to mention prior to my original review I was told by office staff to make sure I called the night patrol officer to help if it happened again- so I did, and they NEVER SHOWED UP. On the phone I was told that they'd "do their best." Tonight it is after 11pm and I have a sleeping 1 year old who has been woken up twice by the neighbors already. Sorry Union Place, you guys have majorly dropped the ball on this one. Definitely won't be renewing our lease, won't be recommending you to anyone else, and will be in contact with the email address given to me in reply to my original review.
