Donald I dont know how you resolved you're situation but for future reference I would contact the other parties insurance , dont give any details of accident only basics. Do not sign ANYTHING , do not release medical records, and I would not use the claim number fir your medical care. If you do inform them not to send bills to them only you. Depending on your percentage of dailfault and your decision to continue racking builds up that they will ultimately pay and chancing going to court, simply type up a demand letter regarding settlement out of court. Do not take the first offer ever and I believe statue for adults is 2 years to do the claim. They get paid to settle and sign your off of liability, don't believe anything they say , don't give unnecessary details of accident or injury until you reach an agreement to settle and sign on. At that point you gather you're bills and attach to you're letter. Usually three times your medical bills is appropriate. And you pay your own bills
