Mr. Gurvey has been a blessing to my family. My mother-in-law was injured pretty badly at work. Then through a string of bad luck with an inferior litigator and poor medical care had some complications and was basically abandoned by the "team" she had entrusted to help her. Mr. Gurvey revisited her case, reviewed the history and told her he would try to help. He didn't make any ridiculous or unrealistic promises, he just promised to try. After reopening her case with days to go before it was closed forever, he got her legitimate health care to address most of her issues. He also got her enough money to buy a home with cash and an annual benefit to supplement her income as well as continuing medical coverage. He was thorough, thoughtful and professional. He also showed a lot of compassion taking a case that was a loser based on the incompetence of previous counsel.
