I got the full slab of ribs, the first half was fall of the bone, the second slab was like eating the sole off your shoe. The potato salad was, well, out of left field so to speak. It was more like home fries with cheese, bacon bits and olive oil. Odd flavor, not very good. Service was good, but the food made the overall dining experience a non starter. Won't be going back....

Fattys Pub and Grill is a nice place to stop in for a burger and a beer. The atmosphere is inviting and the food is good. The service I had on the day of my visit was average at best. Our server tried to handle our big group and unfortunately fell a little short. I will not fault her, she was the only server in our area, that was an oversight on the managers part. There should have been at least two if not 3 servers for our group of 28. I will definitely stop in again.

Food was great. We had the half rack of ribs. They were cooked perfectly, sauce was tasty and not overwhelming. I had coleslaw and it was great. I could have eaten twice as much, it was so good. The service was really good. After we ordered our server came back and told us the line was backed up and the food would be about an hour. She was really apologetic, but kept updating us on where our order was, it was really above and beyond the call of duty, and we appreciated it. The atmosphere here is good, its a bar so it's loud but that was not unexpected. 10/10 would eat here again

As an NIU alum, I love the beer nuggets. I had the Costanza and it was fantastic. They were out of too many of the beers my wife wanted to warrant 5 stars, but hopefully next time, they will have them. We shall return!
