I really challenged the guys. My dear friend Ursula, dumped her PC 4 years ago at my urging, and bought an iMac. On her external backup drive were hundreds of photos taken over a decade ago with proprietary Olympus software. Moving them from the old backup to her iMac with their folder structure intact was confounding. Apple Care and the Apple store were not able to make it happen, so it ended up on Del's desk at this place. Moving the photos was doable, but keeping the folder structure was a problem: a big problem. Del was dogged, and with the help of Adobe Photoshop, he crushed it. These guys are more than competent, they're patient, polite and generous with their advice. I overheard them listening to prospective clients and proposing the least expensive solution, including how to do it yourself.

Absolutely the best computer shop I have ever been in. I was looking for thermal paste (unfortunately they don't sell it) to see if I could fix an issue I was having with thermal control on my self built computer. After a short chatting with one of the staff, they helped me think of a few things I had overlooked. To give prospective, I have been building computers for myself for a long time (+15 years) but we all forget a thing or two as time goes on. I tested out the few solutions we had come up with, and it fixed my problem. Absolutely the best.

Tony wasn't able to help me w/ my issue but I don't hold that against him. I'd reached out to more than a dozen repair shops in my area &, of the couple that were willing to help, YY Computer had the fastest turnaround & best pricing. It turns out using an SD card for "internal storage" w/ Android encrypts it so only your device can access it. The person @ the MetroPCS store thought pulling the card prior to factory reset would be no problem. It was a problem. My phone was unable to recognize the data I'd backed up & now I have no choice but to format the card & lose my backup. Tony billed me $25 for the initial diagnostic but simply returned the SD card to me a couple of days later, free of charge, because no data was able to be recovered after multiple scans.

They took care to fix my computer at a good price point while describing and explaining all the issues I had, while keeping me updated on every adjustment they made. Can’t recommend enough

diagnostic is 50 or 55$
I'm going to say very likely yes they can, I had a similar issue and they fixed mine. For me they charged 75 to inspect my computer, and another 75 to fix it (fixing it was 150, but they deducted the cost of the inspection). This was the cost for just labor though. I had to buy my own motherboard for them to replace my old one with, but that was great because I got a great deal online for it instead of paying retail cost.
