The riding stables are really nice!! Very well behaved horses! Kent is very hospitable and friendly!

I’m not a every experienced rider but I have been to at least 5 different stables within my lifetime, and my visit at this location was my least favorite for the following reasons: 1. We had a 2:00 PM reservation and where told to be there by 1:15 PM. (Yes, I was a couple of minutes late.) But, my party and another where rushed to hurry up and complete paperwork at 1:20. 2. No instruction were provided before being mounted on the horses. Instructions were provided individually, once on the horse. (All other stables I’ve been to before, provide instructions to the entire group before entering the stable & allow for questions.) Their way was not great for 1st timers (but luckily I was able to calm & reassure my friends) 3. We were on our horses and on the trail by about 1:30 PM. (For a 2:00 PM reservation) 4. We were instructed no phones or pictures while on the trail (I had never been told that at other ranches). 5. Also, no lockers or cubbies to hold your personal items you can’t have with you while riding; so remember to leave them in the car. 6. We were constantly yelled at during the trail ride for our horses to stay close together but, we were told during instructions to keep space. (At other stables, I had also been instructed to keep space between the horses but here they literally wanted the horses heads to tails. 6. They seemed short staffed; only three employees that did everything process payments, rode on trails with groups, collected paperwork, and assisted with mounting/unmounting the horses. All and all I enjoyed my horse Question Mark and the trail was nice & scenic but instructors weren’t the best & bad customer service/business management. I’ll have to share with my friends the stables I’ve been too with great instructors & customer service for us to have a more enjoyable experience.

A group of us went for a trail ride. One of us was an expert and two us complete novices. They provided helmets which our expert appreciated and approved of. I probably wouldn't have thought about saying yes but the safety factor is something to consider even on a sedate trail ride.

It was my first time on a horse. Loved it. The guys were courteous and volunteered to take pictures for everyone. The horses were all trained and it was a pleasure to partner with Drifter.
