1 simple word; AMAZING! Doug and his team are true professionals that are there every step of the way and ensure a quality job is done. Relentless high standards, attention to detail and making sure you feel good about the work they are doing put our minds at ease throughout the entire process of remodeling our kitchen. Even in the wake of tough lock-downs due to Covid restrictions, Doug made sure to constantly stay in contact, let us know what was happening and when we could expect to see progress on our project. The final outcome of our kitchen is something we are very happy with, are proud to show off (through pictures and video at the moment!) and is a testament to the amazing work done. I highly recommend Fernandez Designs & Builders to anyone looking for any type of construction, new or remodel.

Doug Fernandez and his team are fantastic to work with and done a wonderful job on a recent a major remodel for our family. Although in the middle of the project we were hit with the COVID-19 pandemic he and his team was able to keep everyone safe and get our project completed. Hands down our family highly recommends Fernandez Design & Builder.

Questions & Answers

Do you offer design services without construction?

Yes! We can design ready-to-build plans for new home construction and large scale remodeling. It's also a good way to control your costs, since you can hire us to draft your home design plans now, and worry about funding your home construction later.

Which are better, marble countertops or granite countertops?

They're both great options. Granite is a bit more durable, harder, and more stain resistant, but some designs just work better with marble. Really, you can't go wrong either way. You should also check out soapstone countertops. They're non-porous so they don't require as much maintenance, and they can look amazing with the right kitchen remodel.
