A gorgeous place to go for a walk or bike ride. There are multiple trails and lots to explore!

Local favorite. Love this forest preserve. Walk the trails or the river. Kids and I search for arrow heads in the water but usually just come out with cool rocks 😂. Tons of wildlife year round and sledding when there is snow. Highly recommend a visit.

3 1/2 stars would be more appropriate. It's a nice hill for sledding. Not too bad climbing up I wouldn't think. And there are a few benches. In the summer they mow and there are paths at the bottom and a gravel road for park service vehicles.

It's a pretty good size. Probably 50ish yards wide, with a decent slope and run out. There are some fairly steep sections and then some that are more gentle.
Camping is available for organized groups only.
