If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Anyone who is debating on whether they should go here, read this and heed my warning. I worked here for maybe a month or less. Before you decide that it means nothing, do listen. In the month that I had worked there, I saw some of the most disgusting conditions out of any place I have ever worked. Black mold grew in the kitchen, there were dead pests everywhere including cockroaches and mice. Oh, and those delicious little side salads that you get with some dishes? Are made by hand without using gloves, so everything we touch is in those salads. Yum! That includes mold, by the way. Some customers are so entitled and spoiled that they'll keep you so busy as a waiter/waitress that your tables will get up and leave! That's awesome! Oh and the chef that cooks your food? Never washes her hands, or brushes her teeth and I have seen her cough/sneeze in the food myself. She smokes too, so there's extra protein! Wonderful, dontcha say? And young women? Unless you're okay with their creep of a son standing over you and watching you work, I wouldn't suggest applying here.

A visit to this restaurant is like taking a step back in time. It has a 1950s rural feel... strengthened by the decor -- and I believe part of the building is actually constructed from old box cars. The prices are fair... and the food is great if you are hungry for a 'down home' kind of meal. The strawberry pie, when offered, is superb! Their home fires are awesome as well. Def' worth a stop if you are in the area.
