Unfortunately they won’t let me write a new review, so I have to edit my old one. I previously loved this place and couldn’t wait to get back this spring season! Today’s experience, however, was subpar and disappointing. Despite having a reservation for right when the place opened, our order was taken well after other guests arrived. At first, we were enjoying the nice weather and patio ambience overlooking the lake, but after 50 minutes passed by and we still hadn’t gotten our food, we began to feel hangry. We couldn’t get ahold of our server, but the food runner noted that the kitchen was backed up (despite it being not that crowded and other guests getting their food before us). It felt like we had been forgotten about. When the food finally did arrive, it was dropped off unceremoniously. The presentation was notably lacking. My eggs were so undercooked that I couldn’t even eat them. Not that anyone bothered to check or so much as ask how it was. When dropping off the check (which we again had to wait for), our server still did not ask how the meal was. Acknowledging that the quality of the food and wait time are not in his control, I did want him to know that he could have checked on us to make sure things were right. He basically shrugged unapologetically and ran away. I don’t mind paying $$ for food if it’s good, but I don’t need to pay money to feel unappreciated and underwhelmed. I doubt we will be back after that experience, which really makes me sad. Past review (5 stars, October 2021): Came here for brunch and the ambiance was great! Such a picturesque setting overlooking the lake. We sat on the patio, which is super cute and large. FYI, they do not accept reservations specifically for the patio. I kind of wish they did, because we aren’t eating inside with COVID. However, we made a reservation for 11 am (right when they open for brunch) and then just requested to sit out there, which worked out well. There was already a line forming outside when we got there. We had the classic breakfast as well as the malted waffle. Both were great, but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture because I was so hungry!

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times and up until today it’s been a pleasant experience. However, I just got back from Mother’s Day brunch and it was incredibly disappointing. First, I expected the regular brunch menu which has variety and is reasonably priced. Instead, we were presented with a special brunch menu with prices starting at $50 that had typical brunch items with the addition of a soup or salad. It was not a prix fix meal with several courses. When I made the reservation no one mentioned the fact that there was going to be a special menu with higher pricing. With the MD menu we got a bland beer cheese soup. The eggs benedict were average. In addition, we waited an hour and thirty minutes for our food. While the setting is charming, we won’t be going back given the unreasonably hiked up prices ($50 omelet?), lack of notice about the “special” menu when making the reservation and incredibly long wait time. We don’t mind paying for outstanding food and service but neither the service nor the food warranted the crazy pricing we saw today. This was just poor customer service all around and we felt taken advantage of.

Not sure if it was a roughy day at the place or it’s always like this. We first attempted to get a table at lunch time. We were seated at the bar. No one even looked at us, so after 5-10min we left. On the way out we booked a table for the same night. Got a great table at 6pm, wife was quite happy with her order, I never got the chicken I ordered with my squash pasta. Table next to us never got their chicken but none of the mole sauce they came for. Both tables were too hungry to wait for a fix. While the location is superb, the service was less than ideal

Excellent service teamed with superb food equals a phenomenal memory! One of the best dinning experiences my wife and I have ever had! If you’re looking to create a lifetime memory I highly recommend Willow Creek.

They are great! There was a divider between us and the other tables. Masks were required when walking about. Things felt really clean.
Call and ask them
No we are not... sorry
