Awesome park with a really cool jungle gym. There is plenty of parking and its free. Public bathrooms too. There is a nice lake to fish in. A bridge was recently built on the side but it is very stinky around there. Bird poop all covered along the rails, and it smells strongly of pee. You may see dead fish on the edge and lots of ducks.

Free parking and the park is quite big. There is a nature center inside the park but only opens on Friday and Saturday.

This park not only is beautiful but it's also a Oasis. I have been living in car for last 10 months due to health issues. This park has been my refuge for me and my dog. Lots of shady trees and beautiful bike ride. Thank you so much for the park.

Beautiful serene suburban park. The waterfowl are quite friendly. I collected lichen samples and maple leaves for a science lab on Climate in Biomes.

Yes, people bring their dogs all the time.
Yes, the lake side of the park is better for that. Off of Edwards Street.
Yes, but not in playgrounds or the sports complex, and no gas powered vehicles. https://huntingtonbeachca.gov/residents/parks_facilities/parks/huntington_central_park/RemoteControlVehicleArea.cfm
Yes, however the lake is currently covered in duck weed. The lake in the portion of the park by the disk golf course is much cleaner and I see fisherman there daily.
We always see lots of ducks, geese, and a regular resident in one of the green pond is the Great Egret. in addition, we see snowy Egrets, Night-crowned Herons, Green Heron, and Great Blue Heron. The green leafy floating in the water is good to the ducks and geese.
They usually take reservations. If they aren't, show up early and stake your claim. Also, there is a campground area in the park that you can totally book.
They were still there yesterday, but they were less full. Some of the blossoms have fallen off or blown away
