The river has beautiful crystal clear water with a few small rapid areas. There are a ton of scenic shallow areas to get out and take a break. A lot of wildlife and treasures to find in the water

Perfect spot for w camping trip. Really nice mountain bike trails in great conditions, some more challenging than others so make sure you know which one you are choosing especially if riding with kids. For more fun you can rent a kayak or canoe and enjoy views while "working out" or rent a tube and relax. Definitely will be coming back.

Lots to see. Birds chirping in the morning over breakfast time. Fishing was good and very relaxing. Back to the campground for a homemade cast iron skillet Pizza over an open fire .we loved it

Came here with friends did some kayaking and discovered the area. There were quite spots to do a picnic with a large number of people, and I think it’s a great place to bring your dog as well. Overall would recommend!

You'll have to find a laundromat in town
Any walk up sites may not show up on line- because you cannot reserve those particular ones, you just have to be there first on the day you want to reserve and if that particular site is open then you can get it- i think the ones for this CG are sites 1 thru 39, however they have been making changes due to the destruction caused by the Emerald Ash Borer and had marked several trees for removal, which may effect your preference for a certain site. Hope this helps!
