Always enjoy a day strolling around the gardens and shopping at Hornbaker Gardens. Well worth the drive, especially if you love Hostas and want a wide selection to choose from. I’ve also had plants shipped and were very healthy and well packed.

Came here looking for landscaping ideas. Took a picture of our area that we wanted to landscape. We had a few idea's, but met up with Dave and he helped us out. What a pleasant experience. Dave is very knowledgeable. We will definitely be back

Ordered a large number of exclusively fragrant hostas with white blooms - unavailable locally. I was very pleased with the large root mass of each hosta, and the correlating large initial size of each plant after leaves emerged, relative to the cost of the plant. How wonderful to so easily shop for specific cultivars and have them delivered in such a superior size and condition. BRAVO Hornbaker Gardens! I will be ordering more!

Yes. We will open for the season on Saturday, April 10th. Monday-Saturday from 8-5 and Sundays 12-5.

I have 2 hydraena bushes I bought 2018. They are bushing out nicely. But not flowers, and thoughts?? Thank you for your time.

We have a large selection of Large and XL varieties that would fit this description. Hosta 'Empress Wu' has a big leaf that's probably more like 20" or more. Now is a great time to stroll through our display gardens to make a choice. -Hornbaker Gardens
