Pastor Jim has an uncompromising understanding of the Bible and bridges the gap between complex theology and its application to every day life. He is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary under John MacArthur. I love Pastor Jim and I walk away from each sermon just blown away by how he is able to make God’s word so practical. His understanding of Biblical truth allows him to get right to the point of scripture and then deliver it in such a digestible and succinct (and often entertaining) way that you can actually remember the point of the sermon and apply it!

First visit was for the Good Friday service. Very powerful and moving service of Jesus' death for us. Went back on Easter and enjoyed this service as well. Our college age son enjoyed the service too! Worship time was meaningful and they are NOT trying to put on a rock concert as so many other churches do. Very refreshing to worship and hear the Word of God in a joyous and reverent way.

I have been going to Orchard Church for about 1 year now and I can say I am constantly amazed by the openness and welcoming nature of everyone. The teaching is Biblically rooted and Christ focused and definitely a great place to call a church home. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and really grow with fellow believers. I didn't know how much I was missing until I came to Orchard.
