Totally recommend! Excellent equipment and a very knowledgeable employee; Lucas went above and beyond! Took the time putting everything together, and most importantly showing us how they worked. Explained everything perfectly! And stayed to help out with anything else we needed.

There are a ton of providers of equipment. The reason we endorse Harmony Home Medical is because of the custom and personal attention we got. The stress of transitioning my parents was greatly reduced with their amazing knowledge, service and heart-centered care. THANKS!

I was having breast cancer surgery and upon arriving home, I would not be able to use my stairs, so needed a hospital bed to be set up in my living room. I checked with Yelp and found a business, called them, no answer and left a message. Then googled renting hospital bed and found Harmony Medical, called them and they answered. Thankfully, they did have a hospital bed to rent. The service rep Jason was very helpful, made recommendations and made the renting process easy! I felt the prices were reasonable. I opted for the upgrade on the mattress and picked soft, which worked out well. It's still firm but not like a rock. I still use pillows on certain spots to make more cushion. I was not home when they delivered but my friend who helped me, said they did a great job. I was told by Home Health that if I went through my insurance, I would not have gotten such a nice bed. Glad it didn't work out to go that route as my comfort was more important. Harmony Medical was a welcome relief in a time of challenge and stress.

Harmony Home Medical has been outstanding helpful to me and family members over the past two years when we needed to lease specialized beds and other equipment. They also have a good selection of mobility equipment in their store. The staff is friendly and competent, and when they've had to delivery something to my house they are always on time.

Yes there are! There is a great product called the TubBuddy that we carry that uses a track over the tub to slide a shower chair into the tub. Then you bathe from the chair, just as you would if you have a roll-in shower. Then we also can install tub lifts and ceiling lifts that can lift a person into a tub or shower. All these solutions can replace the need for a bathroom model in order to bathe.
No sorry.
Yes we do, a standard walker, or the petite rollator by nova is 21" overall width. All other rollators (those with seat and brakes) do not fit.
Only if you have a hospital bed on file and a stage 2 pressure sore or higher on core of body. Otherwise they just provide that awful green mattress on a hospital bed, and that is very hard to qualify for too. Must be unable to change position in bed or that specific head heights are required and pillows have been tried. We have plenty of mattresses new and used, rental or sale, that may work for you if you'd like to call or come in. Thanks for reaching out, Erica
Yes we do, all sorts, we deliver as well.
Hi Benjamin, yes we do carry back braces. From light support to heavier duty, with metal stays in the brace.
Hi! Yes we sure do. We charge $65 per bar for installation when you order 2 or more bars, plus the cost of the bar. The bar costs vary from $25-$65 per bar on average. We do have higher end designer bars and occasional clearances for lower priced bars as well. Our showroom is helpful if you need help deciding or we can email you pictures.
We have various backrests and cushions and can order huggers if you like. We do not stock anything like that though
Yes we do. The prices always vary depending on what we have, but on average it is $600-$1000 for a good quality full electric bed package (mattress, rails, and bed).
It depends on your insurance. Right now the only outfit that is doing Medicare is SpecialCare but only if it's through Community Health Group. Insurance is a mess right now and if it's Medicare there's really no one. I'm sorry. Good news they are not too expensive, from $20 up in our store, and we have a lot of different styles.
$150 for the full electric hospital bed, best price in town! If you want to add an upgraded therapeutic mattress it’s $30 extra.
No we do not, unfortunately Medicare has changed so that only one provider in all of San Diego can provide basic equipment on Medicare, and that is Special Care. The equipment Medicare pays for is not the best though, and if you want something nicer or a non-covered benefit than we can help with that. We rent most of the equipment so if you have to wait for an authorization or get denied on first go-round we can fill that gap. Best of luck to you and call for any further detail. Thank You :)
Hello Sir. we do. We have limited selection in the power reclining, tilting chairs (Group 3 Power Chair). So we would need your height, weight, and special seating needs asap to try to have a suitable chair ready. We always have standard power chairs, but the power reclining feature is what makes it more expensive and difficult to stock a lot of. Thanks Erica
We do not unfortunately. We carry durable goods like wheelchairs, beds, walkers, stairlifts, etc. Balboa Pharmacy may be a good place to try.
Yes we do, one with handle and one without, in stock :)
