January 4th 1968 Richard Conn was shot while working as a motel desk clerk at the Phillips Motel-Lounge. That is now renamed the Budget inn. The victim suffered a gun shot wound and his death was ruled a homicide.

So good motel for something temporarily, personal vacation etc...I rate this hotel 5 stars. Now if someone say opposite of this Motel, that means something is wrong with you all. Also people need to stop treating this Motel like it's a shelter. Go to the shelter to get more resources. This motel do not have bed bugs, roaches, etc. This motel is clean. People who have personal issues and that cannot go to a shelter, this motel with their staff, do not need to know your problems, respect this Motel please. Also I want to add that, I am not of the leader of resources, especially having people to cause problems in other areas, if you feel like this is convenient Motel, let it be like that.

I stayed last night checked out this morning. The room was $80. Witch was way to much givin their were ants all over the room, on tables, beds and sink. Found a crack pipe under the bed. And no hot water. But it was very quiet, nobody bothers you also good service from front desk. They just need pest control, and better cleanliness. If they fixed those 2 things this motel would be ideal!
