Best driving instructor I've ever had! Not only did he teach me how to drive, he also boosted my confidence in my driving. So glad I learned and tested here!

Twin boys went to their knowledge classes but have not yet done the driver's license exams

At A1 you can pay for the registration with a card and they even allow partial payment to hold your students spot until the first day of class. But they are cash only for written tests (which are an ADDITIONAL fee on top of the class) and that makes it seem like they are trying to keep Uncle Sam out of the business. The majority of students fail the written tests so they are not being taught properly and in turns equals more cash being taken from the parents. Holidays are non acknowledged to A1 and students are required to be there as that is the only day they are scheduled. A1 again collects another fee for the drive test. And if your student wants to use the same school vehicle they have been practicing in thats another additional fee! Its cheaper if you use your own vehicle but thats not an option for everyone. So if you're too broke to have a nice car you have to pay more to use theirs....nice. A1 schedules with students, not the parents, so make sure your kids know your work schedules and family plans beforehand. And you guessed it, if they miss, additional fees. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I won't say where but another company in Yakima is cheaper and INCLUDES testing fees and you don't need to use your own vehicles.
