This is my personal favorite field, while it can be intimidating to newer players, it is a blast once you get over the fear of getting shot. Don't bother listening to the bad reviews out there, the refs are very helpful when dealing with cheaters. The refs themselves are very friendly and they do a pretty good job putting the minors and rental players on the winning team (biased in a good way). The player community is very encouraging and the long time players help coach the new ones. For as long as you follow the rules and you don't try to start a fight you should have an excellent time. Overall my favorite place to spend a day airsofting and would recommend this to anyone. P.S. whatever you do don't yell at another player to call their hits or the ref will shoot you 😳. Just tell the refs if someone is cheating and they will handle it

I went here with my friend to get into airsofting and it was so much fun! The arena is a decent size and the staff and really chill, but strict when it comes to the safety of everyone which in my opinion is really good. The pricing is not bad especially on Fridays when it’s cheaper. Overall a great place to shoot each other !

I'd been avoiding coming here for years as I'd read so many negatives. But there's always someone with a gripe... so what the heck... Came to Tac City for a 3pm Sunday. Very efficient letting us in. Very friendly and helpful staff on the hire desk and the ref's too. My friend hired a gun and vest and the gun looked brand new and worked really well. There is a large area for staging that was a bit hot n sweaty but they had clean toilets and water fountains. The pro shop was well equipped too. The chrono was a bit slow but once done we were into briefing and then on to games. The games ran very fast. Every time a turn ended the teams switched locations and started again. After doing this a few times everyone comes off field for a breather. Within 5 mins we were off again. 3.5 hours with a very large play time available. About 40 guys were there which made for a good scaled game. I had only played outdoor airsoft and CQB was a lot more brutal. Make sure you've got some padding or you will get some monster welts and bruises. I ended up with 20 and some even had blood oozing out. So why not 5*... ? Well all we played was team deathmatch with no-respawn. Over and over and over. No objective games or longer games with respawns etc. A little more variety would get this up. I asked the front desk guy about the "Texas move" and he reckoned it was the head office only. The field looks to be staying open for now.

Haven't been airsofting in awhile, so I decided to head to Tac City right after a long day of work in order to unwind. I've been to this location a handful of times in the past. I arrived at around 7:45 PM after driving about an hour. I came into the lobby where I asked a skinny lady with brown hair for a day pass, she was anywhere in the age range of 40 to 60. She didn't seem to care and apathetically answered my question with a "no, we are at compacity". I said "okay", asked a question about their inventory, and browsed the store for a minute before I left. As I was leaving I noticed about 3 separate groups of people going to their cars to pack up and leave. Thinking I could get in, I went back to the same lady and asked her if I could come in since others had left. Again she apathetically said "No, people come in and out all the time and we can't track the amount of players in the building". I understand the logic but I still was bothered by the fact she wasn't willing to accommodate me at all and didn't seem to care in the slightest. She just seemed annoyed with me. Maybe she could have asked a ref if the player count has lowered? I was willing to pay $20 for only 2 hours of play and I was going to buy an accessory for my M4 but I decided not to. I just thought "screw this" and left because it seems like the people there at the time could care less. So I chose not to give them my business. It doesn't really matter since I just found out this location is closing and moving to Texas.

best ur gonna get https://taccityairsoft.com/field/
25$ after 6 its 15$
Here is a link to the pricing page and daily hours, what type of game play and daily deals. https://www.taccityairsoft.com/pricing.htm
look on https://taccityairsoft.com/ on pricing
During business hours , yes. Keep in mind, right after opening each day, we have a line of customers to check in, so best time is to call after opening rush...4pm on weekends and 6pm on weekdays.
Sorry for late response but if you pre registered is like a rsvp or something so if you don't pre-register you might not be able to get in and play
10 and up is fine. ~$40 per head if you dont have a gun and eye protection. $20 if u have a gun and eye protection. addition items can be rented as well
Yes
Unknown , it's pretty crowded there, give them a call.
Ten years old
Boot camp price includes gun, mask and vest.
Honestly I would call and ask. There's been inconsistencies like that with Hollywood Sports as well, I found it most helpful to call and clarify it with the staff.
Green gas and hpa
Yes, you can
Depends on the day. Depends on who the refs are. Depends how many people are on the field.. Depends on if there are rentals/kids. Depends on what your gun actually is
I use a half mesh mask and standard goggles. you must have eye protection. if you're 18+ you can wear just goggles otherwise you need full face mask
You can bring your own or rent, they have a rental program where you can use the rental price towards a purchase if you want the gun(new of course) after trying it.
Yep. Just show up and ur good to go. All you need is some money for the entry fee and rentals.
10 years and older
Yes, M-F 5-10pm Sat/Sun 3-10pm
Yes, and will be trying to keep Fullerton location as well.
Yea you can use a paintball mask they let you you can rent a mask if you want it's only 5 bucks but they let your use paintball mask
No, they don't allow full auto.
The chrono area has targets to practice/sight in your gun... It's only like 2 lanes though
We just went last weekend (11/28/2020) and it was open for private parties...
Yes
Its airsoft not paintball
Yes, you need to have some sort of card with you though
Yes
Only a primary will be needed for general play ,some people will use a pistol as a primary. If your using electric guns for primary weapons I would recommend extra batteries ,and extra mags ,I would look into a battle belt system over a vest unless you want to practice with a vest for that type of experience. For face protection I'd recomend the dye series masks they are a favorite among the more season players , a nice case to carry all your equipment will make transportation of your gear much easier and safer , Also there is a kids boot camp that happens once a month ,we give the kids a little tactical training with some movement and shooting exercises so they have a better idea of how to move on the field the next one is on 7/26/20 check it out
No ,6mm plastic bb guns that run on battery, gas or hpa
No it’ll be dangerous only green gas, electric, and co2 6mm bbs
no. unless he can shoot a gun
Yes, but they have to be metal for realism. (Sharp is fine, just not too sharp.)
Yes! I've been doing airsoft for over a year now and tac city is the place to go. Me and my friends go airsofting about every week and we go on friday nights. Fri dd's ay nights is probably the best because it 15 dollars for like 5 hours of gameplay. Friday nights are low light meaning the lights are dimmer for a cool experience as well as Easter eggs with prizes are hidden on the field. Overall man join airsofting and always go to tac city
Yes, you must sign a waiver before playing regular games. If you wish to play full force games and are under 18 you need to print out the paper full force waiver and bring it into the store.
15$ I think
Yes
Own gear is allowed. Electric is allowed. Public times available on website.
Yes you can but you will have to get them Chrono'ed
Yes you can, specialy if you know the staff in their
You can get light to pretty heavy one.
It's your call. Your own risk my man
You pay by the hour. It ends around 12 or 1pm. Airsoft starts right after
To answer your question no gear is not cheap and tenting is cheaper but depending on how much income you got it can be pricey too
Sadly not
Sure. At your own risk. Make sure you are able to feel hits. Cuz most airsofters dont tolerate no callers.
Plastic.. shooting metal is called bullets and that's not legal or safe.
I saw some pretty young kids there.. doesn't seem to be one, but you probably don't want your toddler running around with an airsoft rifle getting shot..
Can't rent a sniper nor a shotgun I don't think u can get a arp 9 556 though
On sundays it is 20 a person But from there and one your usually spending 20 a person.
Yes ,I recommend going wensday which is pistol Shogun night bc they charging 5$ for entrance ticket
You can show up with absolutely nothing and rent everything you need to play for a day.
Yes your kid can play but if it's there first time usually the employee will sometimes test the new players and ask what are the rules so make sure your kid knows the rules before playing at tac
Enter fee is 25 and yes you can rent equipment from guns to masks from them. However ammo and gas must be purchased not rented, but you can also get that from them. They have a very wide selection of guns and ammo.. if you do bring your own ammo it must be minimum .20 in weight.
I was just there last friday and they do fill tanks
Yes they only allow 350-300 fps. They have a certain schedule on what days there is full-auto and semi-auto.
Yes. I went 4/6/2019 and we purchased bb's.
They have pretty good rentals, they're nice guns
Tac City will definitely allow you to rent guns, mask, vest, etc.
Hot always in the gear
Body armor for protection is not required. You could play in a tank top and some shorts if you wanted to. The only thing that is required is full face protection( if you are a minor). If you are above eighteen the just eye protection is required.
They are allowed, but you're better off renting a rental gun.
They offer deliver from a pizza place. You can bring food amd eat/drink in the main area, but not on the field.
Yes!
Yes .25 gram and .20 gram
Wednesdays are usually pistol and shotguns only. if you're looking to buy a gun or gear the pro shop inside usually has a bit of everything. not sure what you were asking, check their website
No I'm afraid they don't.
I don't think they do or the wifi was super slow making it useless, can't remember but they might have it now. I haven't been in awhile
I think shottys are 15 and rifles are 25. entry is 15 Mon - Fri . Tuesdays are buy one entry for 15 and get a voucher for a entry. Saturdays are 15 per session or 25 for all day. sessions are split in two. the first session is 1pm to 6pm and the second is 630 to 9pm. also there's a promo for two free entries when you buy any pistol from their shop on site. you also have to rent eye protection if you're 18 or older and minor have to have full face protection. I suggest buying a pair of goggles or face mask from their shop since rental is about the same price. you can check out their website if you need more information... http://www.taccityairsoft.com
yes. claymores are only allowed on full force days(Thursdays)
The area is small enough that you shouldn't worry about range. If this is your first time, a basic m4 will be plenty to see what it's about. If you have been airsofting before, or want to try higher end guns, the Krytac PDW is perfect for the arena. If you want to try out GBB, the KMP9 is an awesome gun (owned one before) and will work out well. For a challenge, try a pump action shotgun. Harder work, but fun and rewarding
Instead of having all the lights on in the facility like normal, the playing area has dim/no light so it's aimed at using flashlights, tracer units, and lasers.
They allow high caps.
10 years old and typically on Saturday $20
You can play with just a pistol but you will need to get gas for it. . . You will typically spend 50-70 for each day you rent gear. Guns will range from 10-35, masks 10-20, bbs are about 10, gas 10, entry 15-20.
I have a friend who is selling a lancer tactical that was only used once. He is selling the gun, 2 magazines, and the battery and charger for 100$ if you are interested.
It varies between around 10-15 for a basic pistol up to 35-40 for an aeg. . . You will find many options between.
I believe it's open play in the afternoon. Opens at 1pm.
If he has a full face mask he can. I've seen a certain 8 year old come out and play. He's pretty good too.
How old do you have to be to play airsoft here?
Yes, I believe the cheapest one was $5 or $6. The one in the vending machine is not very good. I suggest buying one before you go. Airsoft Master in Buena Park is not that far away and had better ones for less.
Yes they do. For $15 you can get all day air fills I believe
You have to fill the waiver out each time you go. If you pay a little bit they will keep it on file. You can find the waiver here http://www.taccityairsoft.com/rules.htm
On Speedqb with Sonnys permission. That trigger is NOT supposed to be tournament banned.
350 fps maximum, 30 rps maximum, no feathering, polarstars have to be semi locked
Yes
My advice is to look at the specifications on the gun that you like and see what the FPS (feet per second) is . If you're going to Tac then your going to need a gun that is no more than 350 fps. They have helpful people and have a tech department . Hope that helps
Yes
Like Noah said they do but it's a hot item. Give them a call before a day before and see if they have them. If not paintball gateway or extreme tropics which ever store is closer will have them. Buying them one is cheaper though.
Only sound I belive
There are 10-15 mins. between games. There are usually 4 sets of games played after which a 10-15 mins. Usually they play tdm with no respawns.
All the techs are super helpful! There are three techs all great, Derek, Adrian ,and another guy ( forgot his name). All them are great. One of them are usually available every day. I would recommend going on the weekdays since it is not as busy. Like Aron said I would call before going.
Pricing usually starts at 20$/hour, maybe more for PolarStar. You could call and see, I do know fro Extreme Tronics it'll be 40$/hlur
Ten years of age or more strictly enforced. There is no way to prove a childs age. You can lie all you want. However sonny has nerf only games for the little ones, call and ask when they are being held.
Well, they might do it. Evike does, it would be about 40$
For the battery, they do charge a fee for charging it. If you rent out a battery, they might charge the other one for free. For the speed trigger, they are going to charge you. They work by the hour but I dont think that it will take an hour.
350. But beware, if you have them downgrade your gun, they'll just cut the spring
FPS limit is 350. 10 foot minimum engagement, no running and shooting(must walk to shoot), no feathering, confronting ANYONE(let the refs deal with it). 18+ aren't required to wear lower face protection and can wear full seal eye protection for play. Barrel plugs/sleeves aren't required in staging area. You shoot in staging area, you're gone... no exceptions. Anything over 3 bbs for someone to call their hit is over shooting.
They are usually open from 5-930 it's 15bucks or 2 for 20 bucks before you go you need to sign a waiver that is on the website. You can register online or in person (online is better and quicker)if you want to rent anything , you need to have an adult for that and you need to leave an I'D for collateral. Gun rental is about 25-30 bucks depending on which fun mask is 5 and vest is 5
Great idea, they should add it.
350 fps bro
A waiver is mandatory to play, you can fill it out online or at the field when you get there. If you do it online it speeds up the registration process.
It's up to you, I wear it but you don't have to. I did see someone get shot in the ear, luckily it didn't impact the ear canal.
What brand is it? At Tac everything is pretty close so you should be good, just make sure it shoots below 350fps. You can pay $20 for them to lower your fps if necessary.
Yup. Mom can hangout upstairs while you play and yes ears are required and you are a fool not protecting your ears.
Technically until 9:30 when the last game ends
You can bring your own but they can't be heavier than .25. .12 are not advised since they shatter on impact. You can buy bbs there if you dont have any.
Tech service is $40 an hour. It does not include admission to play.
I wouldnt. Bring an assault rifle or an smg. You wont do well with a sniper rifle.
It's worse now that school is out. But since this is one of the few indoor places left it's always got to good amount of bodies.
Pricing is $25 on 1-10 weekends, and $20 on 3-10 weekdays during summer
Depends the bare minimum a mask. But vest and gloves would be nice. Or if you like the sting sensation just a mask will do.
It what u want ex: $5 for mask and 10-15 for a gun
They have prices ranging from 10$ to 40$ repairs.
Idk if tac city ships airsoft guns but evike does for sure. Call and ask to be sure.
I usually fill my tank at tac for convince sake. They have never refused to fill my tank up. They always had air.
Yes
Yes
Airsoft only, no metal bbs. Also must have a 350 or under fps
No, guns are avalible for rent as are masks and chest protectors
Actually bootcamp includes rentals (mask, vest, and gun). It also includes pizza for lunch. Rentals are not included with admissions for public play but are for bootcamp!
Prices are per day for unlimited games. $15 per day during the week and $25 per day on the weekends.
Does anyone know if they're limited on their air supply every day or should I not worry about that?
Anything under 350 and if your gun is shooting high they charge 20$ for a fps downgrade
Yes.
Yes, we do it for $20
15$ all day but you'd still need to buy gas and bbs. Propane is banned from here.
Anyone 10 and up
No the rental gun includes a battery and mag and even a sling if you ask and there are some avalible. All you need to provide is Bb's I recommend. 20
Yeah they do a good job in under an hour for $20
No southern California
You need a signed waiver with parent signature.
Public games play with how ever many show. Private party games can be run at alomst any size but require a 15 admission minimum.
if by bb you mean below 6mm airsoft bbs then NO. Airsoft uses a 6mm plastic bb.
All day + air ≈ $40 Half day + air ≈ $30 And yes, there are a lot of Speedsofters, but 90% of them are pretty nice.
There is a public gameplay for only 15 dollars for admission. I think about almost everyday. However, there are some days which they have tournaments.
15 is the cheapest you can but I think it goes up to 25
No
They used to have that promotion, as to whether or not it's still active I would give them a phone call. However if you spend $100 or more in their Pro Shop, you will receive a free entry for that day.
How come they have it on display for sale?
$25 For 1-10P? Or $15 7PM
350 wit .20 bbs
For a rental fee you can get all you need for the battle
You buy the bronze card
Yes but you can't fire them both at once that's blind fire you have to fire one at a time
As long as it shoots at 350 or less FPS and shoots 6mm BB's it can basically be used
They do the 350 fps test with .20 gram bbs they have.
15 dollars per admission and a signed waiver.
Well. You don't need to. You can just go there and pay $15 per admission with a signed waiver. Either full or half day.
Yes, I know the way of the devil.
Yes as long as they are completely concealed
They are pretty strict on FPS for indoor play. If your gun chronos higher than 350 you won't be able to play. They may make you bring it up to tech to try and lower the fps.
I dont agree.
You can play in pick up games so you do not need to come as a team
As long as it's under 350 fps
They have nerf only matches of you book a private party, however they don't count during standard play.
Technically you have to be there with your legal guardian. You can bring a signed note from your legal guardian giving temporary guardianship to a legal adult. But they don't exactly check guardianship...........
They will be closed that day.
Yes but they have to shoot at 350 fps or slower in order to play with them at Tac City. We also offer a downgrade service if your airsoft guns are over 350 fps.
We will be open 1pm to 6pm Christmas eve and closed Christmas day
Yes for $35 an hour or so.
Yes you do, they have rentals, retail store front with items for sale. Its a super fun place. Tell em Rad sent ya!
If your question is regarding team play, yes. The players are usually decided into 2 opposing forces.
FPS limit is 350 with .20g BBs. $15 per person or 2 for $20 M-F. $25 on Sat and Sun.
If the velocity of the sniper can be locked under 350 fps then yes it is acceptable. Any homemade gun can be allowed under a refs or managers desecration, if it can be chronographed and is deemed safe to self and other players.
$15 for entry during the week or 2 for $20, $15 for half day on weekend or $25 for full days. Price is for admission and doesn't include rentals or ammo
It is 350 fps max and hpa rifles have to be semi locked. The fps is tested with .20 gram bbs.
Yes you just need to be 10 with an adult signature. #growthesport
Yes but there's a 50% chance that you will get one in poor condition according to my experience
Not really. FPS limit is 350 w/.20g bb's. I mean you could snipe if you had one with that kind of fps, but the lay of the land at tac city doesn't really work for sniping... more speed softing and CQB vs sniping/ mil sim
3pm. On September 5th we will go back to our summer hours of 5pm - 10pm
