Stunning hike with your dogs!! Scenery for days and 360 degree view of LA from the top. They do have water troughs along the trail (I'm shaded areas) for people and dogs. And a standing section for dogs to dip their paws into the water to cool them down on hot days. My mini aussies absolutely love the trail. And there are some off shoots of the trail for a little more advanced hiker and advanced dog which we take all the time to mix it up in the way up and down. Really fun for the whole family and a must do hike in LA!!

My family and I visited the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angels in November. The weather was beautiful! The hike through the trails was so much fun. The view of the city is absolutely amazing. Just breathe taking. I loved every minute of this experience. If you want to see all of LA this is a must see.

Over look a whole Los Angeles at this spot. 360 degree views.only 1.2 mile hike up from foothill around Greek Theater.

Fantastic hiking grounds. Free parking at the observatory up until 12 noon during the weekdays. (10 am weekends)The hike up to Hollywood peak is definitely worth it, not too strenuous. On my trips I’ve seen plenty of 🦌 , a few coyote lots of Jack Rabbits and a crazy amount of different species of 🐦. The view is a fantastic from the top definitely worth the hike.
