A nice place to kill an hour either the kids.

We go to the grass area for Sportsball on Saturdays in Spring. The museum people let us in to go potty, very nice environment. Everyone is always helpful and friendly.

Tucked away in a residential neighborhood is the Lomita Railroad museum. This place was great for about an hour. There is a steam engine, caboose and small museum to explore. The museum, though small on square feet has quite a lot to look at. There is a coin operated (they provide the coins) model train and all sorts of interesting parts and pieces to see. Definitely recommend for your train loving kid (or adult)!

Small but very awesome little museum found in a residential neighborhood. Free parking on site. $4 for adults, $2 for children 3+. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of cool items inside the museum, and you're able to walk inside the trains which are well kept. There's a small park across the way with a couple of trains, benches and shade which would be a perfect spot for lunch after visiting the museum. My kiddos and I will definitely be back.

No they don't, this site is more miniature railroad towns, that are created by railroad hobbyists.
