I have taken many, many items to this shop and never had an experience remotely like the one Bridget described. Enough experience to doubt Bridget's credibility. Michael (he's the one who runs the shop) is an absolute professional and gentleman. My wife and children think he's a charming, delightful man. He is also a master shoe repair person. I have shown the shoe people at Nordstrom his before and after work and they call him a "miracle worker." While that may be a superlative, Michael takes extreme pride in his craftsmanship and always under promises & over delivers. I can not recommend him highly enough.
