Small showroom in orland park and the staff jumps all over you as you walk in the door. Wouldn't let me walk around. Bought my furniture in Oak Brook, at W. E. SMITHE. Much more to look at and staff is not so pushy. Time to follow-up on this review. I ordered my sofa and love seat Memorial day 2021. They finally came in Memorial day 2022. Nice quality, but took way too long.

Just an overall HORRIBLE experience , I’ve never been treated so poorly while shopping, will no longer suggest this place to anyone nor will I return. Worst customer service ever, rather deal with strangers in Facebook marketplace than Karen’s all day!

The Oak Brook store is the worse of all the stores! I’ve been a customer since 2004. I usually shop the Lincoln Park store. I’ve shopped the Orland Park store. However, I decided to give the Oak Brook store a try since I know longer live in that area. Tonya greeted every customer that had less melanin than I have in my skin. I was flabbergasted. Finally, I sat right at the front door near the front table where designers sit. Corey was about 3 feet from me; after making eye contact he looked me up and down, turned his head, and sat down. NEVER ACKNOWLEDGING ME! I was there for 25 minutes before anyone asked me if I needed help with anything. I remember the days when retail would say can I help you? I remember the days when Walter E. Smithe (with an E) would say would you like coffee, water, or tea. I once met the grandfather the sweetest man you would want to know in the Lincoln Park store. He knew what inclusion was before it became a buzz word. He is the reason I continued to shop at the company. Those days may be gone. I am giving two stars off of His kindness. If you want great customer service you may want to think again about this location, especially if you are enriched with melanin in your skin!

This store...They send someone to follow you. You provide DETAIL information..... and they never once call to follow up. I guess I didn't look the type! Enjoy at your own risk or spray some money cologne so it sets the signal off that you are a serious buyer!
