Great outdoor facilities, pool, jacuzzi and various weight rooms. Would be 4 stars if they updated locker rooms which aside from pointless electronic locks, hasn’t been updated in 30 years. Constant smell of toxic sewer gases leaking in lobby and men’s locker room shower drains.

Fantastic spot to workout and take in the beautiful scenery. Especially grateful for the large layout and amenities. Staff is pleasant and helpful. On another note, if you're a spoiled teenager or an old white guy that enjoys complaining or talking about yourself ad nauseum then you've found your home.

*This review is highlighting my experience on Wednesday April 13th.* Don't get me wrong: the location and managers are awesome. The amenities are second to none. Unfortunately, the front desk woman Lori gives this place a terrible reputation. If you're working a front desk job where you're facing guests every day, you have to at least pretend that you enjoy what you do. I'm shocked that she's still working here. She has a terrible attitude, a constant scowl on her face, and pretty much grunts whenever my brother and I say hi to her. As for what happened on Wednesday: there was signage outside of the woman's locker room saying that the STEAM ROOM (and I emphasize steam room) would be out of order because a maintenance man would be fixing the door. No problem. I asked the manager Ann if we were still able to use the sauna. She said yes. No one ever said that we were not allowed inside of the locker room, and even so, the signage I saw when I walked in did NOT say that. After my workout I hung out in the sauna for a few minutes before getting ready to leave. Lori storms into the locker room and YELLED at us to get out because the maintenance guy was waiting outside for literally 5 minutes. There was a bay club trainer/employee who explained to her that an elderly woman was getting ready after swimming, and that she would be done soon. Lori then went on to complain about how the maintenance guy was being paid by the hour and didn't want him wasting time. Nothing screams "cheap" more than this. To top it off, a woman dropped off her stuff in a locker before her workout and Lori walked in AGAIN to ask whether or not she was changing. The woman said she was simply changing her shoes before working out, to which she and I exchanged the same strange look. Several things need to be addressed here. Basic communication amongst the staff and at least an email sent the morning of to Bay Club members in this area would have been great. It's always better to over-communicate. Secondly, the elderly woman was incredibly sweet and just wanted to get out of her swimsuit. Lori lacked any form of compassion or understanding for the situation. If you were a hunched over 70-something you'd want someone to be kind to you. Get a grip. Last but not least, we don't pay the membership to be ridiculed and disrespected. This is unacceptable. I understand that I might have misread the vague signage about the steam room. That doesn't counter the fact that the manager Ann said I could still use the sauna or for anyone to gather their belongings. If the locker room is going to be closed, your sign should clearly say LOCKER ROOM CLOSED. This is why other women were in there to grab their bags and get ready. If you don't want anyone in there whatsoever, your sign should say that. Simple as that. I apologize for this rant of a review, but it had to be said. This location used to be great, but something needs to change in order for anything to improve.

This review is regarding their comedy club pop-up. Went to this recurring event with another couple. Personally, I was extremely annoyed to discover upon arrival that we were supposed to supply our own chairs!? Really!? $25 bucks to hear amateur comedians at a gym and you have to bring your own chairs. I asked why this wasn't stated at time of purchase and they tells they sent out an email that morning (I looked, more like 12:30 in afternoon). Sorry I am not one to check my emails all day. How's about a text!? For a recurring event this I thought poorly organized and they didn't even seem to care.
