There is camping all through the summer and on weekends after Columbus day until Christmas. There is group camping all year round
I would hope the on-site manager camper could take care of your needs when you arrive if everything is not all reserved
I think vehicles are limited to two and must be on the gravel. Tent limit is based on physical space. Each site has a different limit to number of campers allowed.

Not necessary. Some parts you may want it but you can tell before you get too deep in that part of the trail. The majority of the park is easy enough in shorts
