I thoroughly enjoy shopping at this supermarket. It's a Japanese supermarket with lots of fantastic ingredients I've been looking for. I know there are other Asian supermarkets, but this one has tasty little restaurants in their mini food court. I took a friend there for lunch and they loved it. I recommend going with a friend and taking your time looking for that ingredient you need for the recipe you saw online.

This place is amazing! It has all kinds of Japanese stuff here. The food selection looks good and they even have a food court area as well.

Tokyo Central has such a variety to choose from including fresh food, snacks, beverages, and beauty products. Found several goodies for us to enjoy while visiting. Be sure to bring your own reusable bag so you don't pay extra!

Tokyo Central had been a awesomely fun place the last two visits, lots of parking and some discounted food after 7pm. Tonight it was cleaned out by 8pm Monday evening. Got some groceries for the hotel room instead. Lots of parking and you can find some good deals on groceries.

Everyone is masked up. 😷 Lines are long on the weekend
They have S&S Saimin 'Ohana packets that come with 8 individually wrapped saimin portions. Lifesaver!
I have not seen one in a while. They will change out what they carry every once in a while. Might be easier to buy one on Amazon for that.
I don't know where that is, but I do believe you can get The Metro to the store. It is a well stocked store. I hope you are able to shop there.
Never seen it there
I suggest checking the ad on their website. There's usually some on sale each week.
I think you should go and check it out. You may find something else you like. I recommend the karaage or the bakery.
Un sure, but then is wasn't looking for them, they have an upstairs?that sells merchandise, U might want to call them and ask.
I don't think I have seen Papaya soap there. Try checking either Whole Foods or Sprouts market
small handhelds only
Parent company is same, name changed. I tried to call, but no answer.
I am pretty sure they do.
Don't need membership. It's like any Nijiya market.
I bought Konnayaku several times, but never seen power.
Yes
Pickling weights? I haven't seen them but I haven't really looked. They have an online ordering option if you want to look there
Yes- https://www.tokyocentral.com/default.aspx
Gonna have to call the store and ask.
They have an area with Hawaiian products. They may have what you are looking for and other things you may like.
Umeboshi at tokyo central has been altered to adapt to japanese american taste buds
No membership required but with membership you get discounted prices on their specials. I think they changed their membership now. Once I went and didn't bring my card, I told the cashier I never registered on line so she scanned her own and said it was ok as long as I didn't care for the points earned. Also i think the membership is now free or greatly reduced and it's a one time fee now instead of annual fee. Great store.
The furniture section closes at 8:00 pm on Mon-Sat and 7pm on Sun.
